Ajax Coach Craig Rosslee believes his team's mental strength has increased as they have progressed to the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup.
The Urban Warriors face Pretoria University in the last four of the cup competition on Sunday.
This will be a major challenge for Ajax as the Mvela League side has knocked out the likes of Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic so far.
However before they travel to Gauteng, they face Thanda Royal Zulu at Newlands ! on Thursday.
Rosslee says despite Thanda being threatened by relegation his side needs to show them the necessary respect.
"The mindset is always going to be that if you want to win the league it's you have to have the same mental approach for the big teams and the smaller teams. I think that, that defines the character of not only individual players but the team as a whole."
