Liverpool will be waking up this morning in disbelief surrounding their 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Champions League last night at Anfield. The Reds seemed to be on course to go to Stamford Bridge a goal ahead, that was not meant to be. John Arne Riise dived to clear the ball but instead put it in the back if his won net in the dying moments of the game.Liverpool had a nervy start to the game and The Blues came close to scoring when a free kick was given away. Liverpool went ahead on the 43rd minute when dirk Kuyt slipped one through Petr checks legs. Chelsea did have a couple of chances but they were squande! red. Didier Drogba went down in the area when he was brought down by Jamie Carragher. The refreree has been an issue of contention as he was very inconsistent.
The Reds have it all to do, they have to score and make sure Chelsea don't score in the next leg, if they want to get to Moscow on 21 May.
